Ultimate Sports DJ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information in connection with our mobile applications (Ultimate Hockey DJ and Ultimate Dugout DJ) and our website (ultimatesportsdj.app). By using our apps or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Our apps do not require you to create an account, and we do not have access to your music library. Most of what you create in the apps stays on your device. Data leaves your device in three cases: anonymous analytics and crash reports (Firebase, below), in-app purchases (RevenueCat, below), and the optional song request feature (see Song Requests). We use two Firebase services that collect limited, anonymous data to help us improve app quality:
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how our apps are used and where we can improve. This data is collected automatically and includes:
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic data so we can identify and fix bugs. This data is collected automatically when a crash or error occurs and includes:
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases in Ultimate Hockey DJ (version 1.6.0 and later) and Ultimate Dugout DJ (version 1.7.0 and later). RevenueCat receives:
We use this data to confirm purchases, measure revenue, and measure how our Apple Search Ads campaigns perform.
None of these services collects your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. We do not link analytics or crash data to individual users. This data is used solely to operate the apps and improve performance and user experience.
Song requests let a coach share a link so players can suggest songs through a web page. When a coach uses this feature, the following is stored on our server (api.ultimatesportsdj.app):
Our apps use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing the data they process:
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with any other third parties. Our apps do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The Apple Search Ads attribution token is used only to measure our own Apple Search Ads campaigns.
Content you create within our apps — such as playlists, events, player walk-up assignments, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. The only app content sent to our servers is what you choose to share through song requests.
If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your personal iCloud account and synced across your devices. This data is managed by Apple and protected by your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data. For information about how Apple handles your iCloud data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Anonymous analytics data collected by Google Analytics for Firebase is retained for up to 14 months. Crash data collected by Firebase Crashlytics is retained for 90 days. Song request data (team names, player details, songs, and notes) is deleted 30 days after a request link is closed or expires. You can reset your anonymous analytics identifiers at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app.
You have the following choices regarding your data:
Our website (ultimatesportsdj.app) uses analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site and to improve our services. These analytics may collect:
This information is collected in aggregate form and is not used to personally identify individual visitors.
The player song request page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and automated submissions. Turnstile checks technical signals from your browser and device to confirm that a real person is submitting the form.
If you sign up for our waitlist or newsletter, we collect your email address to send you updates about our products. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
Many players on teams that use our apps are minors, including children under 13. The only player information we store is through song requests: a short player name (such as a first name and last initial) and jersey number, plus the songs and notes submitted. Players do not create accounts, and we do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details from players or their families. This data is visible only to the coach who holds the request link. Coaches can delete a link at any time, and all request data is deleted 30 days after a link is closed or expires. The anonymous analytics and crash data described above do not identify individual users of any age. If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's information removed, ask your coach to delete the request link, or contact us and we will remove it.
We take reasonable measures to help protect the information we collect. All data sent to Firebase, RevenueCat, and our song request server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us.
